888 and Sports Illustrated Sportsbook have joined with OpenBet, a platform, service, and content provider.

OpenBet will assist in the opening of the retail sportsbook developed in partnership between 888 and Sports Illustrated Sportsbook as a B2B sports betting provider.

The two companies first partnered in 2021, and shortly after, the sportsbook's digital edition was made available.

OpenBet technology will run the retail sportsbook, which will be housed in Michigan's Island Resort & Casino.

Through the OpenBet Trading System, OpenBet will supply the software for the betting markets, self-service kiosks, and counters.

888 announced a number of rapid changes to its Board Committee a few days ago.
